Postcrete is a fast-setting post mix concrete designed specifically for setting fence posts, gate posts, and garden structures quickly and easily. Simply pour the dry powder into the hole around the post, add water, and the concrete sets in as little as 10 minutes — no mixing required.

One 20kg bag is sufficient for a standard 100mm x 100mm fence post hole. For best results, pack hardcore or gravel around the base of the post before adding Postcrete to improve drainage.

How to Use

  • Dig hole to the correct depth (minimum 600mm for a 1.8m fence)
  • Position post and check it's plumb using a spirit level
  • Pour dry Postcrete directly into the hole around the post
  • Add water as directed on the bag
  • Leave to set — typically 10 minutes before loading
